NEW SEAGATE WEBSITE LAUNCHES IN ASIA PACIFIC

Seagate Technology (NYSE:STX), the leading supplier of hard disc drives for Internet, business and consumer applications, announced today that it has launched a new look and enhanced functionality for its Asia Pacific website in a move that will bring Seagate even closer to its customers in the region. The enhancements include new content on hard disc drive products and applications, and new self-service support features they need quickly and effectively. There are new Reseller and Partner pages to meet channel customers’ particular needs, and the web site is available in English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean and Japanese.

There are three new sections: New Products & Technologies, Retail Products and Support & Downloads. In addition to the comprehensive information on Seagate’s wide range of products, the site’s Support & Downloads section will enable customers and visitors to download Seagate diagnostic tools to meet their specific needs, and to get information on Seagate’s industry-leading five-year warranty.

Leveraging content from Seagate’s extensive corporate website, the individual country websites are hyperlinked with one another and provide information on Seagate corporate, product, technical support, news and information, technology, distribution, events and others in local context and languages.
