Boomi, the market and technology leader for on-demand integration, today announced that the company has added over 100 new customers since the introduction of the industry’s first fully on-demand integration service, adding to its existing client base of over 300 customers in 11 countries around the world. Additionally, 28 of the leading Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), cloud computing, and system integration companies have joined Boomi’s partner program, endorsing Boomi’s revolutionary approach to SaaS integration.
“Boomi was the clear choice for TacitLogic to synchronize Salesforce.com with our business networking platform, MyReferNet. It is the only integration solution in the market priced and delivered as a true SaaS platform” said Drew Massie, COO & Co-Founder of TacitLogic. “I was able to build and deploy my integration processes within just a few hours. My business realized cost efficiencies almost immediately.”
With its “connect once, integrate everywhere™” approach, Boomi is quickly becoming the solution of choice among major SaaS and PaaS vendors and other service providers. Boomi’s popularity is driven by its fully cloud-based delivery model, its visual approach to integration that does not require coding, its elegant solution for behind-the-firewall integration and its pay-per-connection pricing model that finally aligns integration costs with SaaS application costs.
“Given the incredible appetite we have seen from SaaS ISVs along with client conversions from conventional integration companies, this is clearly the right solution at the right time,” said Bob Moul, CEO of Boomi. “The integration challenge is not caused by SaaS technology itself but in the attempt to integrate SaaS applications with conventional integration products. By providing a SaaS solution for SaaS integration, we’re helping unleash the full potential of the industry and power the continued rapid growth of cloud computing.”
Boomi also recently closed on $4 million in its first institutional round of financing from FirstMark Capital. The investment will be used to accelerate Boomi’s go-to-market strategy and further secure the company’s position as the leading provider of cloud-based data and application integration services. Amish Jani, managing director of FirstMark Capital, has joined the company’s board of directors.
Boomi demonstrations and executives can be reached at Salesforce.com’s Dreamforce Global Gathering Conference, November 2-5 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, CA. Boomi booths are #617 in the Dreamforce expo and Partner Table #7 in the Tour De Force Zone.
