Fuji photo film U.S.A., inc. Realigns imaging group
Fuji Photo Film U.S.A., Inc. has realigned its Imaging Group from a divisional to a functional organization. Under the new organizational structure, the Imaging Group will be renamed the Imaging Division, and the Photo Capture Division and Photofinishing and Web Services Division will be replaced with separate consolidated sales, marketing, market support, product and systems development and technical services departments. All changes are effective immediately.
“These changes will enable us to most effectively respond to customer needs and improve internal efficiencies,” said Hank Hayashi, who will continue as Senior Executive Vice President and General Manager of the newly named Imaging Division. Hiro Sakai will also continue in his role as Senior Vice President, Strategic Planning, for the Imaging Division. Joining Fujifilm USA’s Imaging Division as Vice President, Sales is Bing Liem, who will oversee the consolidated Imaging Division Sales Organization. Liem brings to Fujifilm 22 years of experience in the AgfaPhoto organization where, in 2001, he was named President and CEO of AgfaPhoto North America, responsible for their marketing, service and distribution organizations.
At Fujifilm, Liem will oversee sales for all products formerly handled by the Photo Capture and Photofinishing and Web Services Divisions. He will also direct the National Account Teams as well as Pro Market Sales and Chemistry and Special Lab Sales. “Bing is a talented and respected industry veteran who will lead the sales of our new organization to the benefit of our company and our customers,” said Hayashi.
