ARIA International Incorporated, a premier provider of special surveillance and communications solutions to military and government agencies, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with 3D Icon Corporation to license CSpace in select military and homeland security applications.

3DIcon and ARIA have agreed in principle to the terms of the licensing agreement and have begun work on the projects outlined in the MOU while they conclude a definitive licensing agreement, which is expected by the end of November. The parties have agreed that ARIA will license the exclusive rights to CSpace applications in three categories: 1) cargo scanning; 2) baggage scanning at airports; and 3) command and control systems for the military.

The terms of the licensing agreement also allow ARIA to develop or introduce 3DIcon’s CSpace technology to various national laboratories for the purposes of establishing either: 1) Cooperative Research and Development Agreements (CRADA); or 2) support any research agreements that are currently in place between ARIA and the national and defense department laboratories.

“We are very well aware of the 3D imaging systems in development worldwide. 3D Icon’s CSpace is the most flexible, scalable, and elegant design we’ve seen. We’re excited about its applications in homeland security and military,” stated ARIA’s President and CEO Michael Crosby. “We look forward to introducing the technology to companies that are the dominant leaders in cargo and baggage scanning as well as command and control systems. The market has been looking for a 3D imaging solution and we believe CSpace will be enthusiastically received.”

In a press release dated October 21, 2008 through 3D Icon ARIA International Incorporated announced that it had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with 3D Icon to license 3D Icon’s CSpace™ 3D imaging technology in select military and homeland security applications.

In the press release ARIA incorrectly stated it had a relationship with Decision Science Corporation. Currently neither 3D Icon, nor ARIA International Incorporated has any agreement with Decision Sciences Corporation concerning 3D Icon’s CSpace technology, or any agreement to coordinate development efforts on Decision Sciences Corporation’s behalf or with any third party; nor is there any collaboration, relationship, or authorization by Decision Sciences Corporation for ARIA International to coordinate development efforts on DSC’s behalf.
