Rohde & Schwarz Japan and Signalion GmbH partner to provide LTE UE simulator in Japan

Rohde & Schwarz Japan K.K., the Japanese subsidiary of Rohde & Schwarz, a worldwide leader in test and measurement equipment, and Signalion GmbH, a pioneer in LTE infrastructure testing with the first LTE UE (user equipment) simulator, have closed a distribution agreement for Signalion’s LTE UE simulator for base station (eNB) test in Japan. According to the agreement, Rohde & Schwarz Japan has exclusive rights to distribute Signalion’s SORBAS series of LTE UE simulators in Japan. As part of the agreement, Rohde & Schwarz Japan is also responsible for technical support as well as maintenance/repair of Signalion’s products in Japan. As of today, Rohde & Schwarz Japan begins to sell Signalion’s SORBAS series to network operators and manufacturers of communications infrastructures.
