Opera invites local graffiti-artists to decorate its Norway headquarters

Opera Software today announced a graffiti contest to decorate the company’s new offices at the Opera HQs in Oslo, Norway. Opera encourages local graffiti artists to send in design proposals to cover 50 square meters by Opera’s main entrance. The winner receives 10,000 NOK (approx 1,500 USD) and gets to go wild on two of Opera’s walls. The work and the artist will also be promoted internationally to a large audience through the My Opera Community and the Opera Newsletter.

“Opera is an international company, but it is important for us to be part of and support the local community”, says Jon S. von Tetzchner, CEO, Opera Software. “This contest is to honor a local artist and to make our new offices more funky and urban in line with Opera’s culture and the local area.”
