Pixton for Schools Official Release

Vancouver, Canada – Pixton Comics Inc. is pleased to announce the release of Pixton for Schools, a private, virtual classroom that integrates our award-winning comic creation software in a fun, interactive learning environment.

“A mind blowing, game changing and all around awesome web-based comic strip generation tool. Following in the footsteps of Flickr, YouTube and Twitter, Pixton is poised to join the short list of cutting-edge, top-tier and truly innovative social web tools.” – Derek E. Baird, Education Technology Consultant

Pixton for Schools features the Lesson Bank, which teachers all over the world use to share lesson plans and search by subject area, level, and region.

Teacher-student messaging facilitates communication in the Pixton classroom, which is fully customizable to suit any learning style. Features can be turned on or off, to create a fully social environment for teachers and students, or a self- assessment forum for distance-learning.

Pixton for Schools users can download a printable PDF of any comic, and embed comics in external websites such as e-portfolios and social networking websites.

The free 30-day trial license provides a risk-free evaluation period. License fees are based on the number of users and the term of the license.
