Where can we go that others fear to tread? Answering that question has propelled Speck, one of the world’s leading case brands, to deliver its latest creations. The Speck design team has been hard at work delivering all-new cases for several popular portable GPS devices – just in time for what will be some of the most popular consumer electronics purchased this holiday season.

“The rapid increase in the use of portable GPS devices has given rise for the need to protect them,” said Irene Baran, CEO of Speck. “We’ve drawn from our core design experience to not only deliver the protection that’s required, but also the personality and usefulness that Speck case users have come to expect.”

The new Speck ToughSkin for Garmin nuvi models allows users to carry their device however and wherever they please, knowing that it is secure and protected in style. Featuring ultra-tough ruggedized protective silicone, ToughSkin cases are currently available in custom-fit designs for the Garmin Nuvi 200, 205, 250, 260 and 270 models, as well as Garmin nuvi 300, 310, 350, 360 and 370 devices. The ToughSkin family has also been expanded to include cases for new Garmin nuvi widescreen models 200w, 205w, 250w, 255w and 260w. ToughSkin for Garmin nuvi models sell for $29.95 and images of the cases can be found at http://www.speckproducts.com/content/toughskin-for-tomtom.

Speck has also brought the ultra-rugged ToughSkin case design to TomTom portable navigation units. These cases sport distinct, textured patterns and rubberized shock absorbing material that protect the TomTom from all sorts of accidental bumps and mishaps. This new line of cases are available for the TomTom XL 330 and 300-S, as well as TomTom ONE 130 and 130-S models. ToughSkin for TomTom devices are available for $29.95 and images can be found at http://www.speckproducts.com/content/toughskin-for-garmin-nuvi.

Lastly, Speck’s new GPS Flyer Universal Portable GPS Travel Case is the perfect solution for car-traveling gadget users moving along with cords, cables and other essentials in tow. Fitting most popular portable navigation models, the GPS Flyer’s smaller outer compartment protects the GPS device while propping it up for viewing while in the case, then collapses back down into a flat zipped section perfect for stowage. The larger zippered compartment offers a number of pockets and pouches to hold everything from cables and chargers to small travel snacks. The GPS Flyer sells for $39.95 and images can be found at http://www.speckproducts.com/content/gps-flyer.
