Taqua Integrates Voicemail into Its Taqua 7000 Switching System Solution

Optional Subscriber Portal Enables Industry’s Lowest Cost Web-Based Subscriber Controlled Voicemail Solution

Taqua®, LLC, a leading supplier of next-generation end-office switching systems and applications, today announced it has integrated VoiceMail into the standard Taqua 7000™ (T7000) Switching System solutions with an optional Web-based subscriber control system.

TaquaMail™ provides all VoIP- or TDM-based T7000 customers the most cost effective voicemail option on the market. TaquaMail is a full featured voicemail platform that enables flexible subscriber interface options. Subscribers can manage the TaquaMail messaging platform via circuit or packet based telephone handsets for navigating intuitive voice prompts when recording greetings, and retrieving messages. Additionally, the system provides a host of advanced features including the ability to receive Email notifications or messages with the voicemail attached as a wave file. TaquaMail is now integrated as part of Taqua’s standard switching solution and is activated with the purchase of subscriber licenses that set a new low-cost standard for voicemail offerings with next-generation switching.

As an optional upgrade, TaquaPortal™ is a low cost solution for enabling subscriber control of telephony features and message management via an easy to use Web-based portal. The TaquaPortal provides users the ability to control specific call features such as voice mail retrieve, call forwarding, selective call forwarding, anonymous call reject and access to call history and group directories.
