John Sergeant and Daniel Evans are both leading a blessed life on Saturday night’s prime-time reality shows. Despite walking a tightrope with the judges, both have remained in their respective competitions at the expense of more talented opposition.
Online betting bookmakers Blue Square (http://www.bluesq.com/) are betting on which of the reality TV no-hopers will be disappearing from the nation’s screens first. Daniel Evans from ITV’s X-Factor is the 6/5 favourite to depart first, with Strictly Come Dancing’s John Sergeant at 2/1. News reporter Sergeant has captured the hearts and votes of the public, despite his lack of prowess on the dance-floor.
Alan Alger from Blue Square said “This is what reality shows are all about and sometimes the public show a sense of humour with who they throw their support behind. “We’ve had plenty of shocks in X-Factor with some big favourites departing in the last couple of weeks, Daniel keeps managing to avoid the bottom two”.
Betting on who will be eliminated first?
Daniel Evans 6/5
John Sergeant 2/1
The Tie 2/1
If both contestants are voted out on the same weekend the tie will apply.
