Ideacts aims to create a virus-free environment for public terminals with DeepFreeze

Chennai, November 12, 2008: Ideacts Innovations Pvt. Ltd., (IIPL) an internet media company headquartered in Mumbai today announced the formation of a strategic alliance with Faronics, a Vancouver (Canada) based market leader in delivering solutions that help to manage, simplify and secure computing environments, to launch its flagship product DeepFreeze in the Indian market. The partnership targets the wide network of public terminals at Cyber Cafes to ensure they remain virus-free.

Cyber Cafes in India are the largest, cheapest and the most accessed touch point for internet today by contributing 36% – 40% of the online traffic in India. IIPL has an innovative business model to create advertising platform for brands across the white labeled, fragmented market of Cyber Cafes in India.

The CLINCK network has spread to 12000+ screens of Cyber Cafes across 9 cities in India namely Delhi / NCR, Punjab (Chandigarh and Ludhiana), Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad & Mangalore.
