SpinVox , a global leader in voice to content messaging, has been appointed to the worldwide Microsoft Windows Mobile Developer Advisory Council. The invitation-only programme provides a forum for industry partners to influence the development of the Windows Mobile platform, by sharing their requirements as well as their customers’ experiences and plans for future applications.
SpinVox will provide specific feedback from its extensive customer base across five continents on the use of SpinVox services in the Carrier, Enterprise and Web 2.0 mobile environments. The Council will provide SpinVox with access to key Microsoft mobility experts and insight into future development plans for Windows Mobile.
“The opportunity to shape future developments within the mobility space is a major opportunity for SpinVox and underlines our dedication to and excellence in the mobile voice-to-content services we’re developing for and deploying with our customers,” says Christina Domecq, co-founder and CEO, SpinVox. “Through our appointment we will be able to directly feed back customer challenges and priorities to Microsoft to ensure their needs are recognised and use them to shape the mobile services of the future.”
“The Windows Mobile Developer Advisory Council is a forum that enables Windows Mobile to reach out to our partners in a very focused manner and gather feedback on how to make Windows Mobile a better platform on a technical level,” said Steve Hegenderfer, mobile evangelist, Microsoft. “Based on its expertise in the space, SpinVox acceptance to serve on this council will pay excellent dividends in the future.”
