Move Networks CEO John Edwards Named Ernst & Young LLP Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2008 Award National Finalist in the Emerging Category

Move Networks CEO John Edwards was named a national finalist for the Ernst & Young LLP Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2008 Award in the Emerging Category. Ernst & Young’s program recognizes outstanding entrepreneurs who are building and leading dynamic, high-growth businesses on a regional, national and global level.

The national award finalists were announced at an awards gala, hosted by Jay Leno, on Saturday, Nov. 15 in Palm Springs, Calif. The gala is the culminating event of the Ernst & Young 2008 Strategic Growth Forum, the nation’s most prestigious gathering of high-growth, market-leading companies. This group of outstanding entrepreneurs was selected by an independent judging panel made up of business, community and academic leaders.

Edwards has more than 25 years of experience in the technology industry, including 12 years in key executive positions for high-growth companies. This experience includes serving as chairman and CEO of I-Link Corporation, where he led the first delivery of Voice-Over-IP (VoIP) technology to market. He also served as president of Coresoft, and president of Digital Research. Early in his career, John made his way through the ranks at Novell to quickly become an executive vice president where he was instrumental in the development and go-to-market strategy for NetWare.
