NVIDIA AND IIIT HYDERABAD ANNOUNCE INAUGURATION OF NVIDIA VISUAL COMPUTING LAB

Lab to provide students opportunity to learn and research on the cutting edge of graphics technologies

Hyderabad, India —November 19, 2008—NVIDIA Corporation (Nasdaq: NVDA), the worldwide leader in visual computing technologies, and the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Hyderabad, today announced the inauguration of the NVIDIA Visual Computing Lab.

The lab will provide the students and the institute with state of the art equipment, software licenses and the requisite know how to further the research in the field of GPU engineering and visual computing.

Part of the research in the lab will be focused on massively parallel programming and utilizing the explosive computational power of the GPU for exciting new fields such as keyword detection in videos etc.
