Xerox Makes Color Prints, Copies Easy to Manage with Three New Multifunction Systems
Xerox Corporation (NYSE: XRX) today announced three multifunction systems that make it easy to monitor, track and manage how many color prints, copies, faxes and scans are made, helping offices from small to large to control their color printing costs. The systems were unveiled at AIIM/On Demand, a major conference and exhibition for the document imaging industry.
The Xerox WorkCentreâ„¢ 7655 and 7665, for the mid- to high-volume office and departmental market, along with the Xerox WorkCentre 7132, aimed at small and medium-sized workgroups, are the first digital color multifunction printers equipped with Xerox Standard Accounting, free software that monitors how many and what kind of pages are produced. Network administrators and IT managers can access Xerox Standard Accounting through the Web for a printable report that tracks scans and faxes and shows how much each office worker is printing and copying, both in color and black and white.
Used with other color cost control features, this data enables system administrators to manage usage for individual office workers, helping offices to control costs. Businesses can also use the report to charge prints, copies, scans and faxes to internal departments or external clients.
