Stanford University Installs YoNaturals Healthy Vending Machines

Stanford University recently installed YoNaturals Natural and Organic vending machines throughout its campus.

YoNaturals CEO, Mark Trotter said in a prepared statement, “Our machines are stocked with great-tasting yet nutritious snacks and beverages such as Stacy’s Pita Chips, Clif Bars, Pirate’s Booty, Fiji water, Vitamin Water, Horizon organic milk, and Function Drinks. The arrangement between Stanford and YoNaturals involves providing the university with multiple ‘YoZone’ vending machines through YoNaturals’ exclusive area distributor. The machines will be placed in various buildings throughout the campus, and as an added perk, the departments selected to house these machines will be allotted a portion of their machines sales profits.

Location development director at YoNaturals, Cynthia Savage explained that, “Stanford selected YoNaturals because, being a long standing, premier educational institution, they understand all the benefits of having healthier snacking options for their faculty and students. The YoNaturals ‘YoZone’ vending machines, now can be found around campus, are state-of-the-art, and designed with ultimate convenience in mind for both the customers and operators. They remote 24/7 monitoring, credit and debit card readers and are temperature controlled to deliver both fresh food and drinks simultaneously. The natural and organic products sold through each machine are selected from a list of nearly 500 items.
