Wipro delivers middleware for In-Car TV Tuner to Hirschmann Car Communication

ISDB-T stack developed for customers in Japanese market

Bangalore, India, November 27th , 2008: Wipro Technologies, the global IT services business of Wipro Limited (NYSE: WIT) today announced that it has delivered its Integrated Services Digital Broadcasting – Terrestrial (ISDB-T) stack to Hirschmann Car Communication GmbH. Hirschmann is a world leader in hybrid TV tuners for reception of terrestrial broadcast analog television broadcasts as well as DVB-T programs. The stack would be used for developing In-Car TV solution for its Tier-1 Car customers targeting Japanese market.
