Storage Visions 2009 Conference
The Eighth Annual Storage Visions Conference held at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada January 6 & 7, 2009 features insightful sessions on digital storage in the professional media market as well as developments in smart and secure storage.
Tuesday January 6, 2009 will start with an introductory presentation by Tom Coughlin of Coughlin Associates followed by a session on Digital Storage and Content Creation, Editing, Distribution and Archiving. This session makes clear the evolving requirements for digital storage capacity and the awesome technologies needed to capture and edit new content, to preserve historical content and for multiple content distribution models, including head-end DVR, gaming, satellite and cable, digital cinema, IPTV, video downloading and social networking. Entertainment has generally done well in bad times as people look for ways to use their time and provide an escape from bad economic conditions.
