BI tools and Metadata servers are powerful but they remain ineffective in the most important area – business rules.

Montura is rolling out a cost-effective way to relate rules to a specific part of the application, on demand, with SAS/AF. Models are SAS programs designed to be “written once, versioned, and deployed globally”.

Built for Accuracy, Stability, and Flexibility

Object Models are a powerful foundation for commercial and Department of Defense information systems. The difference is structural. Model design can allow any combination of rule, feature, or one-time inclusion to be inserted with the click of a mouse.

Model architecture removes software complexity, which in turn, removes operational cost.

Hundreds of Parallel Models can be linked for permutation comparison and statistical analysis. Atomic research, game simulation, and forecasting are prime candidates for parallelism. Serial Models are business applications that are post-assembled in response to changing rules and complex data conditions.

Repository Relationship Programming
RRP defines a method for cross-connecting every object in the application through a global data vector. The key to modularity is implementing the global connection during a post-assembly operation.
RRP Models are assembled, not compiled into static packages. Features can be version controlled without breaking the production system. Models remain cost-effective even when business rules change rapidly.
In theory, game designers could use independent parallel models to render water, smoke, and fire on three separate CPU’s if Intel (NasdaqGS: INTC) and RIM (NasdaqGS: RIMM) support shared memory chips with connectivity across computers and VM sessions.

RRP Projects

(NYSE:DNA): Serial models present and subset clinical submission data. Models present CRF’s, study result reports, SAS source code with related logs and listings, and subject DICOM images.

(NYSE:GPS): Serial models synchronize store planning with demand forecasts, optimize SKU quantity for store clustering. Parallel models optimize box content for minimized cost, enable related-SKU and weather-sensitive distributions.
