Sun Microsystems, Inc. selects Hiperos to Manage Vendor Performance

Implementation of Hiperos R.Portal expected to help drive increased performance of vendor partners

Hiperos, LLC, today announced that Sun Microsystems, Inc. (Nasdaq: JAVA) has deployed the Hiperos R. Portal solution to manage vendor relationships. The selection of Hiperos is a part of an on-going effort by Sun to enhance the value and standardize the management of its existing relationships with providers.

Initially, global teams at Sun will use the Hiperos solution to manage vendors in functional areas such as Procurement, IT, and Facilities. Sun and its vendor partners will leverage Hiperos R.Portal solution to drive savings through enhanced visibility and contract compliance, and improved performance and collaboration.
