AMD Unveils New Logo For Ferrari’s F1 Helmets
AMD (NYSE: AMD) today unveiled new AMD branding for the race helmets used by Ferrari’s F1 drivers – seven-time F1 World Champion Michael Schumacher and Felipe Massa. To mark the occasion, AMD and the drivers will donate two autographed helmets to the Institute of Brain and Spinal Cord Disorders (Institut de cerveau et de la moelle épinière, or ICM) at the conclusion of the Monte Carlo Grand Prix, Sunday, May 28, 2006 ICM is an international project working to find cures for neurological conditions, psychiatric disorders, and brain and spinal cord trauma. The organization was founded through support from such legendary Formula One names as Michael Schumacher, Ferrari Director General Jean Todt, and FIA President Max Mosley.
