The agreement is a result of Smarteqs’ previous nomination as one of the preferred suppliers of antennas to the Volvo Group. The new GPS-antenna, tailored to parts of the Volvo Group, is based on Smarteqs newly developed platform, which has extremely low power consumption.

– Again we are able to conclude that our technical knowledge and know-how on antennas is among the best in the world. This agreement makes it possible for us to add another customer made antenna to our extensive range of antennas for the truck industry, which we are very proud of, says Lars Ericson, CEO Smarteq.

The agreement, which was recently signed, is a result of Smarteqs’ nomination as being one of the Preferred Suppliers of antennas within the Volvo Group. The appointment to be a preferred supplier was signed in August this year and truly strengthens Smarteqs’ position as an approved supplier to the automotive industry, which is one of three focus areas for the company.
