CCCL bags BSNL Chennai Telephones & Ascendas – Mahindra Industrial park order in Chennai

Orders valued at Rs 232.41cr

Chennai, 23rd December, 2008: Consolidated Construction Consortium Ltd (BOM:532902), an integrated construction service provider having projects in the industrial, commercial, residential, and infrastructure space has bagged orders worth Rs 232.41 crores which includes the orders from BSNL Chennai Telephones, Ascendas – Mahindra Industrial park in Chennai, Keshopur Sewerage Treatment plant in Delhi, Trivandrum Airport ramp work and Grundfos pumps factory building expansion.

The construction work of BSNL Chennai Telephones, administrative building contract at Greams road, Chennai is valued at Rs 171.92crores and the Ascendas – Mahindra Industrial park near Chennai is valued at Rs 15.03 crores. The Keshopur sewerage treatment plant contract which needs to be executed in Delhi is valued at Rs. 25.75crores. Other orders include Trivandrum Airport Ramp Work at Rs.10.60 crores, Grundfos Pumps expansion of factory building at Rs.6.88 crores and a poultry unit at Pune at Rs.9.11 crores.

The company has recently bagged the Chennai airport expansion project from Airports Authority of India for Rs 1212 Cr in collaboration with Canadian Infrastructure Company Herve Pomerleau International.

With these orders, the total order backlog is Rs.4000 crores, which is to be executed over a period of 24 months.
