Latest Wireless Technologies Charge the 2009 International CES

2009 International CES

The 2009 International CES® will unveil the latest wireless technologies and trends including advancements in location-based services, next-generation Wi-Fi, mobile phones, smartphones and mobile TV formats. Produced by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA)®, the 2009 International CES, the world’s largest consumer technology tradeshow, returns to Las Vegas, January 8-11, 2009.

The 2009 International CES will explore every segment of the wireless market, including mobile content creators, wireless device manufacturers and wireless accessories. Wireless World, a CE Spotlight located in South Hall 3 at the LVCC, will feature manufacturers and distributors of wireless products showcasing the latest in wireless handsets and accessories. The Wireless Mobility brought to You by Qualcomm TechZone will also be featured within Wireless World. Other TechZones focused on wireless technologies include Wireless Distribution, located in South Hall 4 at the LVCC and ZigBee, located in South Hall 1 at the LVCC.

The 2009 International CES will feature more than 200 conference sessions, including sessions on wireless technologies such as:
Wireless Meets Consumer Electronics: The Fundamental Shift to Mobility – Does mobility represent the next great opportunity for the industry? Senior executives from wireless and consumer electronics will discuss big ideas around mobility.
The Wireless Retail Landscape in 5 Years: What it Will Take to Compete – What will the retail landscape look like in 2013? How can stores thrive in an unknown future retail climate? A panel of industry experts will give actionable ideas for building a creative business plan.
