Symantec Recognized as a Digital Integration Channel Excellence Winner by CMP Technology’s Digital Connect Magazine

Symantec Corp. (Nasdaq: SYMC) was named a 2006 DICE winner by CMP Technology’s Digital Connect Magazine for Backup Exec 10d in the category of Backup Storage Software at an awards ceremony in Summerlin, NV on May 22. Digital Connect Magazine’s Digital Integration Channel Excellence award winners are recognized as companies who consistently promote and execute effective channel partner programs and technologies in the digital and home integrator marketplace.

The Digital Integration Channel Excellence Study measures overall Solution Provider perceptions of vendor products and services. This is the first year that Digital Connect Magazine has developed the Digital Integration Channel Excellence study. The survey rated vendors in 13 key product and service categories.
