SogoTrade Offers McAfee® VirusScan® Plus with Website Safety Advisor to New Customers

SogoTrade partners with security firm, McAfee, to help protect clients against online threats

SogoTrade (www.sogotrade.com), the $3 per trade, online trading platform, today announced it has partnered with McAfee, Inc., the leading security technology company. Based on the Partnership agreement, complimentary subscriptions to McAfee VirusScan Plus software, which provides all-in-one firewall, anti-virus, anti-phishing and anti-spyware software will be provided to new SogoTrade customers for one year. SogoTrade is committed to providing the highest level of security by maintaining the strict electronic safeguards online and at its data center in addition to helping clients protect their personal computers at home.

New SogoTrade clients who meet SogoTrade’s account minimum of $2,500 and place at least one online trade will receive a one year complimentary subscription to VirusScan Plus, software a $39.99 retail value. With their subscription, clients will be protected from viruses, spyware, phishing scams and hackers. Additionally, VirusScan Plus software incorporates McAfee SiteAdvisor technology, a powerful website safety advisor, so SogoTrade customers can more safely surf and search the Web.

According to McAfee Avert® Labs, malicious software is projected to grow 300% from 2007 to 2008 and 90% of today’s malware is hidden or encrypted to quietly steal consumers’ data. In fact, password-stealing Trojans increased by 225% last year.
