Outlines Steps to Ensure Long-Term Carrier Profitability at Management World Asia 2009

At Management World Asia 2009, taking place in Singapore, NetCracker Technology will outline steps that Communications Service Providers (CSPs) must take to ensure profitability in the evolving, content-driven value chain.

Mr. Sanjay Mewada, NetCracker’s Vice President of Strategy, will discuss challenges that CSPs face — as well as opportunities they can capitalize on — during the panel “Taking the Friction out of the Content Value Chain” on Wednesday, January 14, at 11:20 am.

“A content-based services ecosystem is replacing the traditional value chain,” said Mr. Mewada. “To ensure long-term profitability, Service Providers must proactively embrace this ecosystem. In other words, they must transform their businesses — and their OSS — to create, deliver, and manage complex, rich-media services.”

Mr. Mewada will discuss issues that CSPs must act on to benefit from the content-driven value chain. Specifically, CSPs must:
Create tailored, rich-media content services to meet consumer and business customer demands
Create service syndication infrastructures that enable partners to share content
Transform their Network and Operations environments to become “content ready”

NetCracker’s ability to transform the Service Layer and manage Network and IT from a single platform allows CSPs to speed the delivery of complex, rich-media content services. Using NetCracker’s flexible and scalable solutions, Service Providers around the world have achieved rapid service delivery, streamlined operations, reduced costs — and created closer customer relationships.
