BlueCat expands European Channel Program to meet increasing global demand for its market-leading IP Address Management (IPAM), DNS & DHCP Solutions
Paris, France and Toronto, Canada – January 22, 2009 – BlueCat Networks, the IPAM Intelligence CompanyT, and Miel, a French Value Added Distributor of infrastructure technologies, today announced an exclusive distribution agreement which enables Miel to market and promote BlueCat’s ProteusT IPAM solution and AdonisT family of DNS/DHCP appliances to key resellers in France.
The agreement with Miel highlights BlueCat’s commitment to grow its global channel program in response to the rapidly-increasing worldwide demand for its market-leading IPAM technologies and DNS/DHCP appliances. BlueCat is signing top-tier global technology providers, brand-name systems integrators, and national and regional technology resellers to expand its channel program and make it easy for organizations to purchase BlueCat’s innovative technology from highly-qualified partners with first-hand knowledge of the local market. BlueCat expects its global channel program to eventually account for up to 70 percent of new sales.
“As the number of devices connecting to the network continues to increase dramatically, it is becoming impossible to manage IP addresses with traditional spreadsheets,” said Jean-Baptiste Pommé, General Manager, Miel. “Miel is happy to announce a new partnership with BlueCat Networks as this agreement ensures that our resellers can now provide their customers with IPAM platforms and secure DNS/DHCP network administration from the leading worldwide provider,” Pommé continued. “IPAM is becoming absolutely critical to our customers, and BlueCat’s technology integrates with Microsoft Active Directory to enable organizations to completely eliminate any network accessibility problems by making it simple to centrally deploy, manage, monitor and audit IP addresses across the entire organization from a secure and intuitive Web-based interface.”
The multi-tiered channel program provides partners with many services, including local Centres of Excellence where they can access extensive in-person training and certification programs, value-added pre-sales and post-sales follow up to ensure customers always receive knowledgeable hands-on service, and real-time access to valuable product information and updates on BlueCat’s secure partner portal.
“Demand for BlueCat’s solutions has increased considerably over the last year, and so we are expanding our sales base through a channel program that will provide customers with the highest possible level of service from top technology resellers based in the local market,” said Simon Lowery, Regional Director, BlueCat Networks Europe. “Headquartered in Paris, Miel completely understands the technology needs of the French market and so is ideally qualified to expand BlueCat’s footprint in that part of Europe,” Lowery continued. “Miel’s vastly-experienced team of technology professionals is dedicated to providing its resellers with all the product training and resources required to maximize new IPAM and DNS/DHCP sales opportunities in France.”
