Over 2000 Delegates Expected to Attend USA’s Largest Energy and Environment Conference
EUEC 2009: Energy & Environment Conference
Energy & Environment Conference has announced that many of the over 450 leading experts making presentations will be addressing critical issues related to President Obama’s proposed initiatives to secure America’s energy independence. The conference takes place at the Phoenix Convention Center February 1-4, 2009.
“The timing of this year’s conference brings together senior management professionals at the onset of what will be an active year for energy and environmental policy, particularly with President Obama’s proposed initiatives on renewable energy in the United States,” said Dr. Prabhu Dayal, Chair of EUEC 2009: Energy & Environment Conference. “Renewable energy and global warming are a major focus of this conference, challenging and providing options for corporations to develop greenhouse gas reduction strategies that reduce corporate carbon footprints.”
Dayal cites a speech by President Obama on January 8th at George Mason University:
“To finally spark the creation of a clean energy economy, we will double the production of alternative energy in the next three years. We will modernize more than 75% of federal buildings and improve the energy efficiency of two million American homes, saving consumers and taxpayers billions on our energy bills. In the process, we will put Americans to work in new jobs that pay well and can’t be outsourced—jobs building solar panels and wind turbines; constructing fuel-efficient cars and buildings; and developing the new energy technologies that will lead to even more jobs, more savings, and a cleaner, safer planet in the bargain.”
EUEC has been recognized as a “must attend” annual meeting in the United States for energy and environment professionals. Delegates can network with experts over networking lunches and receptions served in an exhibit area with 200 companies. Twelve pre-conference workshops are offered on Sunday, February 1, with specialized training on new technologies and services concerning climate change and renewable energy. The EUEC Program slates 450 technical presentations made in seven concurrent tracks where delegates learn about cutting-edge technologies and strategies concerning renewable energy, carbon management and air quality.
