GO-Global Application Delivery Solution Provides Affordable Alternative to Citrix and WTS
GraphOn Corporation (OTCBB:GOJO), a leading worldwide developer of thin-client application publishing and Web-enabling software solutions, today announced that it has signed a software distribution agreement with Shanghai Fuyun Information and Technology Company Limited to distribute the GO-Global family of thin-client software throughout China.
“GraphOn is pleased to announce this important distribution partnership with Shanghai Fuyun,” said John Dilworth, Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “China represents a substantial opportunity for GraphOn. IDC forecasts that China will be less impacted by the global economic slowdown than other regions, and that the country’s information and communications technology segment will grow by over 9% in 2009 to a total of $71.16 billion. IDC predicts huge opportunities in the Chinese ICT market.”
GO-Global is a fast, simple and affordable solution that provides secure, Web-enabled access to centrally-running Windows, UNIX and Linux applications from any location, platform and operating system, including UNIX, Linux, Mac OS X, Windows, Windows Mobile, and Pocket PC. With GO-Global server-based computing, there is no need to modify existing applications for the Web or deploy complex infrastructure such as Microsoft Windows Terminal Server (WTS) or Citrix.
“GO-Global is an ideal application delivery solution for the Chinese market,” said Fuyun Vice President Steven Wang. “We are pleased to partner with GraphOn. Our company will be marketing GO-Global to our existing customer base, while aggressively targeting new resellers and customers.”
