NetLogic Microsystems to Present on 100G Ethernet PHY Solutions at The Linley Tech Seminar on Carrier Ethernet Equipment Design

The event will feature presentations by leading vendors addressing emerging markets and technologies including 100G Ethernet, packet optical transport, and Carrier Ethernet in access/backhaul. The seminar will cover network processors, packet processors, transport processors, PHY components, intellectual property, and software stacks.

NetLogic Microsystems’ presentation will focus on “100G Physical Layer Solutions for Next-Generation Ethernet and Optical Transport Networks (OTN)”. A worldwide growth in broadband services and rich media content has resulted in significant bandwidth demands on carrier optical transport networks (OTN), as well as access aggregation networks for PON, DSL, Cable, 3G/4G mobile wireless and WiMAX.
