The new online supermarket offers access to Fujikura Europe’s commodity offerings, including cleaning products, replacement electrodes, splice protectors, and test and measurement tools. The service facilitates both regular, volume purchasing and ad hoc purchases, and features a user-friendly ‘shopping basket’ application and simple ordering procedure.

“We have introduced the new online ordering facility in response to customer demand,” says Marketing Manager, Brian Leonard. “The service gives customers access to our standardized, commodity products and allows them to purchase quickly, with absolute minimum hassle, and at the latest pricing. We will be adding more products to the facility in time as we continue to enhance the customer experience – something that is very important in these challenging economic times.”

One of the products available through the online ordering service is the Fujikura Europe ‘One-Click Cleaner’ for backplane cleaning. The simple to operate device offers an elongated design that facilitates the cleaning of all single fibre connectors, in both the front and back planes. The disposable device provides up to 500 cleans, at an industry leading low cost of only 6 pence (0.06GBP) per clean.
