In line with its expansion strategy, Simplexo, an Open Source Enterprise Search specialist has announced a strategic partnership with enterprise e-business solutions provider, Duroob Information Technology (DIT) in the Middle East. The two companies have joined forces to market Open Source Enterprise Search across the Middle East by extending DIT’s product range to meet the ever-increasing demand for efficient, real-time information retrieval.

Current market conditions are driving companies to make better use of their existing IT infrastructure in order to keep down spiralling IT costs. Legacy and disparate systems mean that searching for information in real-time has become one of today’s biggest challenges.

Simplexo provides “single click’ information retrieval, enabling companies to simultaneously and securely search both structured and unstructured data sources in real-time. The partnership will benefit Duroob by increasing its line of e-business solutions, including its security solutions, where they can now provide Simplexo’s Open Source Enterprise Search tool, which has been developed to UK Ministry of Defence (MOD) security levels.

The global recession is becoming ever more visible. Companies everywhere, including in the Middle East are leveraging new and innovative technologies to reduce implementation cycles and gain competitive advantage during these challenging times. Simplexo’s partnership with DIT will immediately enable companies to meet regulatory requirements and stricter IT budgets. At the same time, helping to increase customer service and productivity levels to ensure that profits and competition remain high.

“DIT’s partnership with Simplexo will create a variety of new and exciting opportunities. Simplexo Open Source Enterprise Search will enable us to provide companies with a tool that will help overcome the daily challenges that companies face when using poor information search, by providing secure information retrieval in real-time and in one ‘single click’. Such a tool, will help to drive competition amongst companies, which is crucial during the current economic climate,” said Abdullah Subeh General Manager , DIT.

Alistair Handyside, CEO of Simplexo commented: “As ever, it is fundamental that companies remain competitive. A way to achieve this is by ensuring that staff can retrieve vital information in real-time, so that they are well-informed and in return, can work productively to provide a good customer service. The partnership between Simplexo and DIT will increase our coverage in a key and expanding geography whilst will helping to push productivity and competition by providing companies with efficient information retrieval, which in effect, will help to increase profits. We look forward to working together.
