Plustek reinforces its leadership in imaging solutions, bags two ‘Excellence Awards’ for Optic Book A300 & Mobile Office D428

New Delhi, February 16, 2009 – Plustek, a leading imaging solutions provider has announced that it has bagged two prestigious Taiwan Excellence Awards for its innovative products – Optic Book A300, industry’s first ever large format book scanner (A3 size, up to 12″x17″) and Mobile Office D428, the feature-rich lightweight and portable mobile scanner.

The Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) announced the winners of the 17th Taiwan Excellence Award recently. With a total of 561 products participating, Plustek owing to its extensive research and development (R&D) and technological innovation, is the proud winner of two awards. What’s more, the Mobile Office D428 model has been selected for display at the Taiwan Image Pavilion of TAITRA in the world’s biggest IT tradeshow, Ce BIT 2009 to be held at Hannover, Germany from March 3 to March 8, 2009.

At the touch of a button, D428 scans both the sides (front and back) of a document in just 2.2 seconds. For instant scanning, it uses the contact image sensor (CIS) module which does not require lamp warming.
