ASUS having the largest products line in Netbook category has strengthened its position in this segment with the launch of Eee PC™ 1002HA. ASUS introduced India’s first Netbook with the launch of Eee PC™ 7” targeted at school children. The Eee PC family was built up with the launch of Eee PC 904 HD and Eee PC 1000 H. Eee PC™ S101 was launched in India in January 2009 targeting the fashion conscious.

The elegantly designed, Eee PC™ 1002HA is compact & lightweight and is embedded with Super Hybrid Engine (SHE) that saves up to 15% of power. For faster internet connection ASUS Eee PC™ 1002HA is equipped with 802.11n technology that helps connectivity on-the-go. This product comes up with the innovative 10GB online storage along with the 160GB HDD and large touch pad and spacious palm rest for better user experience.

The Eee PC™ 1002HA is designed primarily for users who desire computing mobility, weighing just 1.2kg with the battery attached and measuring in at only 1-inch thick. Intelligent Power Management for Endurance Computing
The Eee PC™ 1002HA features the Super Hybrid Engine (SHE) which consists of the Power4 Gear Hybrid application and the Energy Processing Unit (EPU). Power4 Gear Hybrid facilitates the deployment and usage of power according to the users’ preferences in relation to the specific tasks that they need to perform, while the EPU accurately detects the users’ power requirements and makes the necessary power adjustments. Users can also choose from pre-determined power presets to cater to their computing requirements. Coupled with a custom-made, polymer battery that boasts two high-capacity cells offering 4200mAh, the Eee PC™ 1002HA can provide users with up to 5 hours* of unplugged computing time.

In addition to its 160GB of primary storage, the Eee PC™ 1002HA also includes 10GB of online storage via the exclusive ASUS Eee Online Storage.
