Wolfgang Steiner today announces Jiyuka, is a new audiovisual application for the iPhone and iPod touch. Jiyuka means “free flower” and is a modern form of Ikebana, the traditional Japanese art of flower arrangement. With Jiyuka, create and explore beautiful compositions of randomly generated flowers with complementing generative soundscapes. Jiyuka will put the user into the relaxing state of creating ever evolving compositions and exploring ever changing floral designs.

Berlin, Germany – Jiyuka is a new audiovisual application for the iPhone and iPod touch that lets the user create and explore beautiful compositions of randomly generated flowers with complementing generative soundscapes. Jiyuka means “free flower” and is a modern form of Ikebana, the traditional Japanese art of flower arrangement. Jiyuka will put the user into the relaxing state of creating ever evolving compositions and exploring ever changing floral designs.

Flowers are created randomly as unique combinations of petal shapes and colors yielding an unlimited multitude of designs. Favorite flowers can be saved in a palette or be combined into new ones by crossing. The user can change the flower sizes, stack and layer them into beautiful arrangements and choose a matching background color shade from the wheel of colors. Completed arrangements can be saved in high quality to the photo library of the iPhone or iPod touch.

Jiyuka will complement the visual experience with a meditative soundscape reflecting the flower arrangement and colors. The music offers ever evolving melodies from four different user selectable tonal scales.
