“The Oscars have historically been a social event, and we’re excited to see Jaman as one of the innovative sites integrating the Facebook live feed widget to give users even more ways to interact with friends and family, by posting status updates and seeing what others are saying about the show,” said Randi Zuckerberg, Facebook Creative Marketing Manager.
For this Oscar week, Jaman is showcasing the film nominated for Best Documentary Man on Wire, the riveting story of an aerialist’s high-wire walk between the World Trade Center Towers.
“Everyone has opinions about movies and Jaman loves to find new ways to enrich the social interaction around films,” commented Geetanjali Dhillon, Jaman Executive Producer. “This great collaboration gives Facebook and Jaman users across the world a real-time chat about the films they like and don’t like this year.”
