Spin and MySpace Music present the Loft on 6th at South by Southwest 2009 in Austin, Texas. The venue serves an artist’s lounge featuring private acoustic performances and interviews with today’s hottest rising bands (full line-up to be released shortly). MySpace Music is also excited to announce the following:
SXSW Exclusive Content: MySpace Music will feature exclusive content from the Spin and MySpace Music Loft on 6th at www.myspace.com/music. Interviews and commentary will also be available on the Spin MySpace profile (www.myspace.com/spinmagazine), with select videos featured on Flip Video MySpace profile (www.myspace.com/flipvideo).
Exclusive Video Diaries from Bands: Flip Video official camcorders will be distributed to select bands performing at the conference to capture their SXSW experience, including the road to SXSW. This exclusive content will be featured on the Flip Video MySpace page (www.myspace.com/flipvideo).
Event at Stubb’s: MySpace Music will sponsor the 7th annual Spin@Stubb’s event featuring live performances. The party will be held at Stubb’s BBQ, 801 Red River, on Friday, March 20 from 12:30pm – 6:00pm. Performances include Echo & the Bunnymen, Glasvegas and former Darkness frontman Justin Hawkins’ new project- Hot Leg to name but a few. Flip Video camcorders will be used to capture event footage and party-goers can then post videos directly to MySpace from the venue.
