SAMSUNG Electronics Contributes To Winner Of 2006 Archi-Tech AV Awards
Samsung Electronics America, Inc., contributed its SyncMaster 323T LCD display to an audio-visual project that received a 2006 ARCHI-TECH AV Award. The winning project was the Carnegie Library Interactive UX-User Experience, created by The Sextant Group and EDGE Studio.
ARCHI-TECH magazine and InfoComm International® announced that seven audiovisual or architectural design firms specializing in AV installations received a 2006 ARCHI-TECH AV Award. The ARCHI-TECH AV Awards honor the best audiovisual architectural projects in the industry. Two grand prizes and five other winners were named from among the 46 projects submitted for consideration. “To receive an ARCHI-TECH AV Award speaks to the quality of the products and the talents of the firms involved in creating these award-winning audiovisual projects,” said Jim Forthofer, publisher, ARCHI-TECH.
“As the world-leading manufacturer of high-quality LCD displays, Samsung is constantly working to create the most innovative and attractive display products for the professional AV market, and the Carnegie Library project is an excellent example of how using the right display can make a difference,” said Mark Pickard, senior product marketing manager, display products, Samsung Electronics America, Inc.
“We are very pleased to have been selected to participate in this project, and are even more pleased that it has received this award.” The awards were presented at InfoComm International’s third annual AV Awards Banquet in Orlando on June 6. Award winning projects will be featured in the July/August 2006 issue of ARCHI-TECH.
