Globecomm Systems Awarded Multiple Contracts from Various Government Agencies Valued at $3.3 Million

Globecomm Systems Inc. (NASDAQ: GCOM), a leading provider of satellite-based communications infrastructure solutions and services on a global basis, announced today that the Company has received multiple contract awards from various Government agencies valued at $3.3 million.

The contracts include Globecomm’s customizable field terminals with AxxSys M&C software, two L band entry terminal upgrades and its most recent product announcement, the Ka band Auto-Explorer satellite terminal. The Company anticipates the completion of these contracts in the Company’s fiscal 2010 first quarter ending September 30, 2009.

Mike Plourde, Vice President Government Programs, said, “Globecomm continues to service the government marketplace as our customers enhance and upgrade their core satellite infrastructure with more advanced technology. Our product development focus remains on small, lightweight X and Ka band terminals, enabling our customers to access to the new WGS satellite fleet. ”
