Young Fashion Designers showcases their Collection at ‘Yahoo! India New Gen Show’

New Delhi, 20 March, 2009: Yahoo! India, the official online partner for Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (http://in.news.yahoo.com/wlifw/index.php) and the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) showcases the ‘Yahoo! India New Gen Show’. The event is part of the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (WIFW) to be held in Delhi from 18-21st March 2009.
The Yahoo! India New Gen Show provides a platform for five young and talented designers to showcase their collection. The five designers – Jyotee Khaitan, Jenjum & Jesleen, Pallavi Mohan, Ritesh Kumar and Yuvraj Siddarth Nagpal – have been handpicked by FDCI and Yahoo! India.
Designers at the Yahoo! India New Gen Show not only showcases their collection, but also interacted with users through a consumer promotion on Yahoo! India Answers. Each designer will post one question on Yahoo! India Answers. Users with best answers will receive an outfit created by the designers themselves. Questions posted by designers on Yahoo! India Answers will be visible on the new WIFW microsite.

As part of Yahoo! India New Gen Show, some of the outfits also had purple – a colour that is synonymous with Yahoo! Top models from the fashion world are expected to adorn these purple outfits at the Yahoo! India New Gen Show.
