Samsung Delve™ available at Alltel Wireless Features Automatic Picture Saving Service Right Out of the Box

Ontela, Inc. (http://www.ontela.com), provider of award-winning camera phone picture saving services for wireless carriers, today announced that the Samsung Delve™ is equipped with Alltel Pic Transfer, Ontela’s camera phone picture saving technology available to Alltel Wireless customers.

Customers who purchase the Delve can begin saving their camera phone pictures by simply opening the service on their phone and entering their e-mail address. The service is free for the first 15 days and then Alltel customers can continue saving their pictures automatically for $2.99/month.

“Our customers simply take pictures, put the phone back in their pocket, and their pictures appear like magic on their computers, on the internet, wherever they want them,” said Dan Shapiro, CEO of Ontela. “The Samsung Delve is a fantastic touch screen device with a 2.0 megapixel camera. The application comes pre-loaded on the Delve, providing consumers an easy way to unlock pictures inside their phones.”

In a 2008 study conducted by Ontela, 90 percent of those surveyed said they want the ability to automatically save their camera phone pictures to their PC, but only 19 percent could do it successfully. Ontela solves this problem by automatically uploading every picture a user snaps to their PC, e-mail and Web photo destinations.

“The Samsung Delve is a powerful, touch-enabled multimedia device,” said Omar Khan, senior vice president of strategy and product management, for Samsung Mobile. “We are excited to see application developers choosing to write value-added consumer applications such as Alltel Pic transfer for the Samsung Delve.”

The Samsung Delve is available for purchase now at participating Alltel Wireless retailers. For more information about the Delve please visit www.samsungwireless.com.
