Shoe Pavilion Retains IP Recovery For Bankruptcy Sale

IP Recovery, Inc., a full-service intellectual property asset disposition and advisory services company, today announced that it has been retained by Shoe Pavilion to manage the sale of Shoe Pavilion’s intellectual property and intangible assets portfolio. IP Recovery’s retention has been approved by the US Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California.

Shoe Pavilion was founded in 1979, based in Sherman Oaks, California. It offered a selection of designer private label, and branded footwear, as well as accessories. At the time of its liquidation announcement, the chain had 116 stores throughout the Western and Southwest areas of the U.S. The company, and its wholly-owned affiliate, filed for bankruptcy protection in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California, Case No. 1-08-bk-14941-MT, on July 15, 2008.
