Loop Telecom places network equipment order with ZTE

Mumbai, April 2, 2009: Loop Telecom today announced giving its network order to ZTE, a leading global provider of telecommunications equipment and network solutions. ZTE will supply end-to-end network equipment for the roll-out of GSM network of Loop Telecom.

The Loop Telecom network will be based on ZTE’s mature and stable V3 version with advanced GSM technology and the deal includes the provision of a comprehensive portfolio of telecommunication equipment and services. “ZTE has been selected as the supplier for the core GSM network, access and service layer,” confirmed S. Bandopadhyay, CTO, Loop Telecom Pvt Ltd.

Mr Bandopadhyay elaborated further, “We are actively involved and committed to a successful network rollout of Loop Telecom. We are delighted to partner with ZTE for rolling out the Pan India GSM network. We selected ZTE because of their capability to deliver innovative, custom – made products and services based on their strong R & D support in GSM domain.”
