TAKE Solutions’ ‘iPoint’ achieves SAP Integration Certification

To leverage SAP customer base globally

Chennai, April 7, 2009 — TAKE Solutions Ltd. (BSE: 532890), leaders in Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Life Sciences products, have now been granted a certification by SAP for their product iPoint, which is a Trading and Accounting Process Automation Solution.

When the clients have to cut cost and drive efficiencies in their supply chain, they need to get a 360-degree view of demand and the capability to replenish the channel with the right inventory at the right time, to capitalize on the market opportunity. Businesses that sell their products through distributors rely on market level product off-take data that may be 4 to 13 weeks old. The forecast is inaccurate since sales to distributors are often used as a surrogate to market level off-take. Replenishments are consequently on a push mode and opportunities for market interventions are not made best use of.

This is the second product in the last 6 months to be certified by SAP. CLM, TAKE’s product for managing compliance to product labeling statutes and mandates, was certified in December 2008.
