NextiraOne Secures a Host of Awards from Alcatel-Lucent

NextiraOne announced as Global Partner, Austria Business Partner and partner who implemented the most innovative projects for Alcatel-Lucent

Lichfield, 8th April, 2009. NextiraOne, the communications expert, has received several awards from Alcatel-Lucent recognising the successes of the partnership at the annual Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise Forum event.

Among the accolades was the announcement that NextiraOne achieved Global Partner status under the newly launched Global Partner certification. The award recognises NextiraOne’s superior customer service record and its unique ability to provide a broad range of communications services throughout Europe. The newly renamed group-wide certification reaffirms NextiraOne’s position as a leading international partner for Alcatel-Lucent’s enterprise business.

The Global Partner certification recognises NextiraOne’s continued Europe-wide investment in skills development and its innovation as it delivers the highest level of communications expertise, as well as its ability to serve local and multinational customers.

NextiraOne was further rewarded for its work for Annecy Region Medical Centre in France (CHRA, Annecy Hospital) and Curia in Luxembourg (Court of Justice of the European Communities) with one of several awards as a partner who implemented the most innovative projects. For CHRA, NextiraOne designed and implemented a converged voice/data/image network architecture that included DECT mobile phones, a hospital communications solution (telephones, messaging etc) and deployment of a high-speed LAN. Now it is handling the project to deploy over 600 patient terminals – the largest project of its kind in France today.

The final success saw NextiraOne awarded Austria Business Partner Award for its significant growth, particularly in the application market, in the DACH region.
