Leading domain name registration and web hosting company, www.LCN.com has now made it simple and affordable for domain owners to keep their personal contact details private with the launch of a new domain privacy product.
Whenever a domain name is purchased, the owners name, address, and phone number are entered into a public database. This results in personal information being exposed to spammers, telemarketers and other undesired third parties. The LCN.com ‘Domain Privacy Protector’ has been launched to address the growing concern surrounding the use of the public database as a resource for scammers and spammers.
Mark Boost, LCN.com Managing Director, said: “At LCN.com we have been responding to our customers’ demands with a huge number of new product features and offerings this year. By listening to our customers’ feedback and requests we have been able to tailor our products to their exact requirements
“LCN.com is now delighted to offer our Domain Privacy Protector product to both new and existing customers. This product provides our customers with peace of mind as it ensures their personal information is kept away from the prying eyes of spammers and scammers”
The LCN.com Domain Privacy Protector product uses a default e-mail address, postal address and phone number to appear as the contact information in the public WHOIS database. Requests to contact the domain owner are filtered and forwarded to the customer. The LCN.com customer will retain full ownership and control of their domain.
