Maruti Deploys Oracle to Improve Customer Satisfaction

Maruti and Two Other Suzuki Companies Go Live on Oracle Applications; Expect Improved Efficiencies and Control

Mumbai, July 31, 2006? Maruti Udyog Ltd (MUL), India’s leading automotive manufacturing company, has put an innovative and sophisticated Oracle-based IT infrastructure in place to enhance customer satisfaction and employee interactions with in the company. This will enable Maruti to achieve improved efficiencies and better business controls, as well as synergize its people, processes and products.

The project, which uses Oracle Applications on top of Oracle Database and Oracle Fusion Middleware, is aimed at stimulating the company’s value chain for business excellence through an innovative IT system.
