Samsung Electronics America, a subsidiary of Samsung Electronics Corporation, today introduced the latest model in its SCX Series, the SCX-5635FN, a Network-Ready Multifunction Laser Printer. The SCX-5635FN is designed to support small-to-medium size workplaces with its jam-free printing, user-friendly interface, high output and low printing cost per page. With an estimated street price of $499.99, the SCX-5635FN offers all the benefits of a high quality multifunction laser printer with minimal maintenance and operating costs.

The SCX-5635FN’s continuous, hassle-free operation with robust maximum 80,000 page monthly duty cycle, prints up to 35 pages per minute. For businesses concerned about costs, the SCX-5635FN is capable of printing at approximately 1.6 cents per page. In addition, our integrated duplex printing feature reduces paper, which helps to trim costs and also benefits the environment. Samsung also offers two toner cartridge yields, the MLT-D208L (up to 10,000 pages) or MLT-D208S (up to 4,000 pages) to help cater to fluctuating needs. The SCX-5635FN also minimizes disruptions through its space-saving design and operating quietly at 52 dBA.

The SCX-5635FN is functional right out of the box with its enhanced driver and OS compatibility suite making it easy to connect to any network environment. The user-friendly interface allows for quicker navigation, minimizing training and troubleshooting times. The SCX-5635FN’s 4,800 x 4,800 dpi Enhanced Scan Resolution produces sharp clean reproductions. For heavy network printing demands, the 360 MHz CPU and 128MB of memory (expandable to 384MB), enables the SCX-5635FN to reduce bottlenecks and increase workflow so print jobs are done quickly and efficiently. To minimize reloading, an optional 250 sheet paper tray is also available.
