Advertising-Funded Free Mobile TV Service Now Compatible with iPhones
London, 21st April 2009: ROK Entertainment Group, the mobile applications, technologies and services group, today announced its globally-available, advertising-funded mobile TV service, FreeBe TV is now iPhone compatible, in addition to Nokia, Samsung and Motorola devices.
Sign-up for FreeBe TV is available at www.freebe.tv. The service is viewable online and is streamed over 2.5G GPRS, 3G or Wi-Fi to mobile phones.
FreeBe TV is free to watch on mobile phones providing the viewer has a data package in their mobile tariff or are accessing the service over Wi-Fi.
“The vast majority of iPhone users worldwide have a data package included in their operator tariff” said Jonathan Kendrick, Chairman and CEO of ROK “which is why we are very pleased to be able to offer FreeBe TV to this fast-growing user group”.
